Blue Mountain Assembly of God

Dear Friends,
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
By the way of introducing our congregation to you, I would like to begin by sharing with you that we are a simple country church filled with extraordinary people. We are extraordinary in that we love Christ and we love one another; we hold absolutely to Biblical truth, while allowing ourselves to be guided in our day to day lives by the inner working of the Holy Spirit. Our walking with the Lord in this way has created a welcoming and friendly environment. And so we invite you, hope to meet with you soon.
Best regards in Christ Jesus

Vision Statement

Blue Mountain Asembly of God
We, the members of Blue Mountain Assembly of God, recognize through scripture and the prompting of the Holy Spirit, that it is the Lord's will that his church (both the local church and the church universal) shall be guided by His vision and will for the church, and to that ends we do hereby state those guiding truths which he has revealed:
The foundation reason for the existence of Blue Mountain Assembly of God is to glorify our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ through workship.
The edifying of the body of believers at Blue Mountain Assembly of God is integral in the revealing of the Lord's divine will and furthering that worship.
The clear command of the Lord in scriptures is that we, the church, shall apply ourselves to kingdom growth through the making of "disciples of all men." We, therefore, at Blue Mountain Assembly of God, do see the task of winning souls to Christ as elemental to our reason for being.
The Lord has enabled The Body of Christ, inclusive of BLue Mountain Assembly of God, with certain spiritual gifts to be used as a demonstration of his great power, thereby commissioning us as His witness to the world.
The word of God encourages us not to "give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another..." with the clear intent that fellowship between believers is to continue as part of the health of our church body. This is not to say that all activities promote worship, edify the body, or encourage kingdom growth, so we therefore agree to apply ourselves to doing that which is best in the eyes of Christ.
